SUFFOLK CYCLE RACING SERIES 2013

Suffolk Circuit Races
The name has been changed for this year to reflect the regional appeal of this popular series. For 2013 we will continue with the same league format over 6 weeks starting on Wednesday 12th June. New for 2013 will be a full day of racing on Sunday 9th of June. This will provide a full set of races for each class from U10's through to E/1/2/3 with Masters and Ladies having dedicated race classes. A Go Race class will be available for novice riders and those wanting to try out racing for the first time. Coaching will also be availble for youth riders each evening as in previous years.

We are delighted to announce sponsorship for this year's series from BT and Ipswich Borough Council. This will provide additional financial security to enable us to plan and invest for the future. We are much indebted to our sponsors, past and present, for their support.

We will be running the series with the help of local cycling clubs. Based at Trinity Park Ipswich it includes races for Elite,1,2,3,4 Category, Junior, Youth and Veteran riders. There are Go Race events for novice riders wishing to try out road racing. Free Go Ride Coaching will again be available to novice and youth cyclists. Races are held around a short circuit and will run for 1 hour main race and approx 30 mins (Go Race).

Youth riders must present their bikes for gear checking prior to each race. Note that it is their responsibility to arrive on time for the checks. Event staff will not be making adjustments to machines. Here is how to set your gears.
